a million. Especially when the story all those words
tell is an absolute lie.
Well, mostly a lie.
The part about falling asleep in his arms is
sort of true.
I don't remember the details about the horse, or how it
got into the living room exactly, but judging
from the smell that morning, that part's true too.
And yes. the Harvard-bound debate team captain
definitely cannonballed into the pond
wearing only tuxedo socks and silver
fairy wings.
Everyone got shots of that.
But there's no way the other stuff happened.
Not like the pictures are saying it did."
Warning: if you are sensitive to name calling and bullying then this book is
probably not for you.
Ellie is Lucy's best friend. Cole is Lucy's friend. Cole is also Ellie's boyfriend. Lucy also happens to be in love with Cole...Ellie's boyfriend.
Lucy Vacarro is fairly content with her life, sitting at home slaying zombies on her computer instead of playing dress up.
Ellie asks Lucy to fill in for at prom and be her boyfriends date and it's only when Cole surprises Lucy with a kiss on the night of prom that everything goes wrong.
Personal Review
(Small Spoilers)
I don't really care for Ellie. It annoyed me how she kept using the sympathy card on Lucy and how she made it out as if she was the victim yet she lied to Lucy. Yes, she does eventually say something to the people who bully Lucy but she still stood there and watched and I don't think she deserves Lucy as a friend.
I wasn't sure about Griffin, I don't know if I liked or if I didn't. That's all I have to say about that.
Cole and Lucy were so Cute. Lucy got most of the hate and I think it was really sweet how Cole always said it was about him too and wanted to help Lucy through it and even though Lucy had a bit of trouble letting him in for obvious reason he still stayed by her side.
If you do not mind bullying and are into books involving Romance and Friendship then this is probably a book worth reading.
Ellie.
