Ellie's November Book Haul

It's almost December, how crazy is that?

I know it's not December yet and the banner has snow on it but I think it's fair we do it considering everywhere you turn there are Christmas trees, fairy lights and Advent Calenders.

I honestly can't wait for Christmas, you have no idea.

Anyway, the haul.

I got more than I thought I did, and two of them were an absolute nightmare to get.

First, My True Love Gave to Me, I went to Waterstones and of course, since it's me, they had just sold out.

Seriously though, whenever I go to Waterstones for a specific book I want, they've either just sold out or don't have it in.

I went to Waterstones about two months back and I saw Hollow City by Ransom Riggs 

there and I had already bought the books I got before seeing it so I thought, I will go this weekend, in two days, and get it and then when my Nan went to go and get it (I had a panic attack literally just before I was meant to go, so I couldn't go but my Nan was going for me). She came back and they had sold out, so two copies had sold out in those two days. It's official, the universe hates me.

When I went to get My True Love Gave to Me, I got The Dream Thieves & Blue Lily, Lily Blue by Maggie Stiefvater (in October) instead, so I wasn't too bothered,I just thought I would get it in November, which I did, as well as The Duff.

I ordered The Daughter of Smoke and Bone trilogy box set and Lux: Consequences & Opposition by Jennifer L. Armentrout (not in the picture, well done, Ellie, *facepalm*).

My mum ordered me The Bane Chronicles by Cassandra Clare, thanks, Mum.

That hasn't got an interesting story.

Now for the Nightmare.

The Young Elites is The Book Corner Book Club (tbcbookclub) book of the month and The Retribution of Mara Dyer, well, I just wanted to read that really badly.

I ordered them off The Book Depository and they dispatched at the time they said they would but I ordered off 

my dads card and like an idiot, forgot to untick the 'Delivery Address is the same as the Billing Address' so it was going to my dads old house where his girlfriends daughter now lives. Anyway they arrived a Week later and then when they finally did come I realized that there were two of the same address and I had to put something in 'Address line 2' and I forgot so it probably went to the other address and been redirected to the my dads old house. It might not sound that bad to you, reading this, but for me it was a nightmare.

So the conclusion to this story is the fact that, Ellie, is an idiot and it was all her fault.
