The Iron Fey Series Book 2:The Iron Daughter Author(s):Julie Kagawa Rating:5/5
"I've been in the palace of the Winter for a while now. How long exactly? I don't know. If I ever get out of here, I might find a hundred years have passed and all my family and friends are long dead.
I try not to think about that, but sometimes I just can't help but wonder.
My name is Meghan Chase,"
Half Summer faery princess, half human, Meghan has never fitted in anywhere. Deserted by the Winter prince she thought loved her, she is prisoner to the Winter faery queen. As war looms between Summer and Winter, Meghan knows the real danger comes from the Iron fey - ironbound faeries that only she and her absent prince have seen. But no one believes her.
Worse, Meghan's own fey powers have been cut off. She's stuck in Faery with only her wits to help. Trusting anyone would be foolish. Trusting the prince who betrayed her, deadly. But even as she grows a backbone of iron, Meghan can't help but hear the whispers of longing in her all-too-human heart.
The Iron Daughter is defiantly one of the best books of The Iron Fey Series but that is my personal opinion. I finished this book in a day, that's how hooked I was on it and it even made me cry and if I'm being honest it takes quite a bit to make me cry, and I did. The Iron Daughter is the second installment of The Iron Fey Series.
