Review:
I had heard a lot of hype of this trilogy, it was mainly all positive which made me want to join in and read this. Having seen reviews and people rave over this book, I did have high expectations and Legend lived up to them all.
It starts of with setting the story, where we have the introductions to the characters and the world. Our story is set in place with the murder of June's brother which we see is taken place during Day's POV. Then we go into the main point of the story of June seeking her brother's killer before she learns who she really works for.
The world was really easy to understand and it seemed a future that was close to modern day. I really enjoyed the characters, viewing how their minds work differently than ours. How prodigy's can observe more and have higher intelligence then anyone else. It was a really interesting and fun POV's to read from. I also loved how they were similar with the same intelligence and the caring for their family and what they believe in. Then how these two similar people were split up into two completely different worlds.
I also loved the way it was written, viewing it from both Day and June so we get both sides of the story and a view of their different worlds. The different fonts for each of them made it seem more like a journal and that we were really reading their words and thoughts.
The end I enjoyed, with all the different plot twists as June works out why and who murdered her brother and the type of world she really lives in. It made me wonder what's going to happen next. How will they solve these problems and shocking truth that they have discovered? I really can't wait to read the next one and I do encourage you all to pick up Legend, you won't regret it.
