Can you believe it, the last Percy Jackson, Heroes of Olympus has finally arrived? Yes, there was a few tears, over the emotions of it being the last ever one (even though the next series main character is called Magnus Chase?), and I feel like I haven't said goodbye to my favourite characters. I'm going to start with all positives, because I love Rick and this series so much. This book had a lot of action moments I loved and still had me laughing at the same time. I loved how they split up to do mini quests together and how we had more relationships within our seven growing. It had a big build up to the final battle, with the search for the physician's cure. I loved Nico's and Reyna's pov's, I felt like we got to know them more as characters and see their backstory. Nico, I wasn't much of a fan before, but since House of Hades, he has grown on me and now after seeing his pov, I love him. I was so so so glad with the ending he had. Reyna, she had this whole backstory built, with problems and none of them got solved. Her character did develop, but not completely what I was expecting her to. Her story was interesting and now I have questions that I doubt will ever be answered. Please write another book, Rick. I apologise if no one agrees with my thoughts towards the ending, but its my opinion and it really upsets me to have problems with the book. The ending. Really, it's predictable and it seemed completely rushed and uncompleted. It needed a least a few more chapters. It was a let down, but we still got kind of a happy ending, but ended up with thousands of questions. It felt like parts of the story had been forgotten and some of the characters problems that they had weren't solved. Percy and Annabeth didn't have a pov, they were side characters, which made me sad. I didn't get to say goodbye. This book was an amazing adventure, the whole series was, and I do hope you all read it! Another great series Rick, can't wait for the next one.
