Love, Rosie premiere.
While waiting for the stars to arrive, I was lucky enough to be given a ticket by a man. I hadn't planned to see the movie but I couldn't say no to a free premiere ticket that was actually a seat to watch the movie with the cast. Even though the seat was by myself, I really didn't care. The seat was great it was right at the front, but wasn't so great to see the film, but I'm not complaining.
First to turn up was Lily Laight looking beautiful in a white dress. She was so sweet and lovely, you could see how nervous she was. Her signature was the cutest thing ever, just her writing out her name. In Love, Rosie she played Rosie Dunne's (Lily Collins) daughter and she was so adorable and so good in the movie! Defiantly a perfect Katy Dunne.
Tanya Burr, the youtuber, then turned up. I admit I have never seen her videos before, but she was still so sweet and lovely. She looked amazing and even told us where she brought her skirt (I was too carried away with the moment and forgot the store name). Maybe sometime soon, now that I've met her, I'll have to watch her videos.
Then Laura (Sam's wife) turned up and she looked so beautiful. All the girls did. I didn't get a picture with her as she was being rushed around, since everyone was running late. I did get to speak to her and she was the sweetest. She protested that she shouldn't be allowed to sign the Love, Rosie posters since she wasn't in the movie, which was just so sweet! She spoke to us, though, and then smiled and waved as she had to go on.
Sadly, Suki was running late so she didn't get to stop by to even speak to us. She looked so beautiful and waved to us as she walked by. I loved what she was wearing and she has such a beautiful smile. Would have loved to meet her, but maybe at the Insurgent premiere if their having one in London?
Lily Collins. One of the main reason I wanted to go to this premiere. I wanted to meet my idol, the one person who has changed my life so much. The one person who is so sweet, lovely and such a caring person. I'm so thankful and proud to call her my idol. So, when Lily turns up I'm completely shocked. My mouth is hanging open again, I'm shaking and I am on the edge of tears. She gets out the car and the crowd goes wild, like they should, and I start screaming and shouting, trying to get her attention. Lily recognised my friend from Instagram and started to get all excited and started to come over to us. She was so adorable. Her publicist told her she had to go do the press and interviews, but she said she would come back. We had to go in. Our time was running out but we could see her trying to make her way back round to us. The security told us we had to go, and we were sad with not having met Lily. We walked down the red carpet, completely shocked that Lily was in front of us, smiling and beautiful. She smiled at us and we waited for her to come over, but the security sent us in. I was so sad that I didn't get to meet my idol, I could feel the tears threatening to slip. We even went to the toilets to stall time, but when we came out we was too early. I was so devastated.
Then we took our seats. Me on my own at the corner that wasn't a great seat (film wise) but it was still something. I was trying so hard not to cry, I didn't get to meet Lily but I still saw her in person. My seat was right at the end and I was told where I was, was where the cast all lined up to go on stage. They came down and I saw Lily, she was smiling at everyone, including me, and stopped right next to my seat. I was so shocked, extremely close to crying. I asked her if I could give her the messages gift I made for her, with other Lilyian's messages. She told me to give it to her when she came of the stage. While Christian was introducing the film, I sat taking selfies of me with Lily behind me and watched, while crying, as she spoke with Suki and Lily. She kept smiling at me, I must have creeped her out but I was just so happy and so shocked. When she went on stage I watched her and cheered so loudly. She came down and I gave her the messages, telling her how I loved her and thanked her for everything. She said, "Aw thank you! That's so sweet! I love you too!" She had to go get her seat after that, while I sat sobbing. Everyone around me was smiling, knowing how I must be feeling, but for the whole start of the movie I couldn't stop shaking or crying.
This is going to go more into a film review now for Love, Rosie...
So the film ended, and the room starts cheering and applauding to the cast and Director. They all then leave before us. My mum and sister are then outside to take me home and deal with me while I cry the whole way.
The movie. Honestly, from the trailers it looked so good. The movie blew me away. The accents, the acting, the comedy, the romance, the way it was structured, everything was just perfect. Lily Collins was so good as Rosie Dunne, she had such a complicated character of being comedic while going through the struggles of life and love. She was so perfect though. I couldn't stop laughing and crying throughout this movie. Her accent was on point, she looked on point and seeing her get married and have a child was just emotionally heart warming. Sam as Alex was so good as well, just the two of them together made you believe it was real. They had so much chemistry and looked so good on screen together. Suki as Bethany was great, she had the whole kind of Bethany look I imagined and her scenes had me laughing. Jaime who plays Ruby was just so amazing, she was so funny and such a great character. Her and Rosie had such a good friendship that had that comedic side to it. Lily as Katy Dunne was adorable, she had a few shares of having a boy best friend like her mother. The cast all looked so good together and really seemed to connect and understand the relationship between each other the characters. Overall, this movie was perfect and was defiantly one of the best movies I have seen this year. Anyone can see this, man or female, both would enjoy it with the romcom side it has. So funny. So good. Such a great story.
To finish this long post, I have a video to share with you guys. Its me on the red carpet with Lily in front of us. My mum took this, so I apologise for the bad quality, but this video I will cherish forever. I'm the one with the shoulder length hair, green coat and backpack:)
