Have you ever wondered what it could be like to have an alien come and live with you? To have an exchange program with another planet. Well, Alienated is a really enjoyable book where we can follow Aylix on his first experience to earth.We follow him come to Earth and see him develop to the way we live, it's a fun and an interesting pov to read from.
Aylix is moving in with Cara, who has a blog called 'Alienated', where she posts about Aylix's experience on earth and questions related to him and his kind. While everything is fun and happy, Cara and Aylix gets threats and notes left in their locker. She loses everyone, her friends and her boyfirend - all for Aylix.

Cara and Aylix's relationship developed fast in this book, it was a bit of an insta-love relationship but you couldn't be annoyed with it due to the loveliness of it. Throughout this book you're questioned to what side Aylix is on, which then builds up to the climax of the book.
I'm not a fan of space, I can do aliens on earth, but actually going out to space scares me. Usually I'm not into books like that. However, having gotten to know the characters and the storyline I found the out-of-space part more enjoyable to read. I can't wait to read the next one to find out what happens next!
