Review:
Going into this I thought it would be a dark witch kind of book, that was not the case. At times this book was dark, with the violence that happened, but it was a more enjoyable book. Usually, I tend to struggle with books about witches (apart from Harry Potter) but this book was easy to get into. It wasn't complicated and a lot was going on within one book. It was non-stop action from start to finish, something was always happening.
The characters were extremely stereotypical, usually this type of Heroine would put me of with being a self-adsorbed and annoying when it came to being friends with Paige at the start. Indie is the popular girl and Paige is the nerdy neighbor, who is apparently an embarrassment to turn up at a party with. I did like Indie's character and I did feel sorry for her, but at times she needed to wake up and see other people rather than her self and her status.
Bishop, he was then the stereotypical mysterious bad boy of the book - the one who clearly get's involved with Indie. The naked tattoo of Betty Bop was a big turn off, but he still made me laugh somehow. The banter between him and Indie gave the book a slight humor to it within the serious storyline.
This book was pretty fast paced and easy to get into. It's a story of good and evil fighting over a bible that could do bad in the wrong hands. It is worth the read and I can't wait for the next one to come out.
