Review: 

Laughing, crying and screaming was what this book made me feel. From start to finish I was completely gripped, needing to know how this series finished but wanting to slow down because I didn't want it to end. 

This book was so shockingly good, you didn't know who were the good guys or who any of the characters could trust and how it was going to end. But, oh god, it was so good, such an emotional roller coaster.  The twists and turns in this book were so good, Jennifer done things that I never thought would happen. She manages to have a balance of romance and action, as well as the emotional heart break that every last book has. 

The ending was gripping, action packed and emotional. I loved how two different sides had to join to stop the invasion. Jennifer had the ending, then just as your thinking it's the happily ever after outcomes another problem that ends the happily ever after for some time. The very ending, though, in the future. How that last scene warmed my heart to see everyone come together again for a reunion and seeing how their lives played out after the invasion.
Jennifer has a unique way of writing, it is young adult, but it feels like its more grown up with the strong themes of romance. She has her cliches, of the perfect hot guy (Daemon, of course) but she also has a twist them, making him a lovable sweet guy. She then creates characters that we can relate to. Katy having a book blog and loving books made her so interesting, it was so easy to relate to her. I loved the world and characters Jennifer built, they were so interesting and different from anything I had read. 

Overall, this series was amazing, emotional and a fun read. The series has become one of my favorites,  as well as Jennifer becoming one of my favorite authors. I can't believe it's over, but I am happy with the way it ended. Such a wonderful series, with wonderful characters, an out of this world world and a gripping action and romance packed storyline.
